Job Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Tekla Checker to join our team in Coimbatore. This full-time role requires a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 6 years of work experience in steel detailing and structural analysis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using Tekla Structures and knowledgeable in AISC standards. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Tekla Structures for creating accurate and detailed structural drawings. (Mandatory skill) Experience in steel detailing, including the preparation and checking of shop drawings. (Mandatory skill) Familiarity with AISC standards for executing projects according to international guidelines. (Mandatory skill) Ability to conduct thorough structural analysis for various types of steel structures. Experience in project coordination, ensuring tasks are aligned with project timelines. Knowledge in 3D modeling to effectively visualize and communicate project elements. Capability to manage and assess steel structure designs for fabrication purposes. Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in all detailing work. Roles and Responsibilities Review and check structural steel models and drawings using Tekla Structures. Ensure compliance with AISC standards and project specifications. Coordinate closely with modelers and detailers to resolve issues and ensure design accuracy. Prepare and oversee the development of shop drawings and erection schedules. Assist in project coordination and manage timelines to meet client requirements. Identify and communicate any discrepancies in design and detailing with the project team. Provide technical support and guidance to junior detailers within the team. Participate in project review meetings and provide insights into structural solutions.
