Associate Manager - IT Infra


Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Manager to join our IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure and asset lifecycle. You will lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring efficient and secure IT operations, and manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Asset Lifecycle Management:
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Allocation & De-allocation: Implement and maintain a robust asset management system for tracking and allocating IT assets, optimizing utilization and minimizing losses.
  • Maintenance & Support: Oversee the maintenance and support of IT assets, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity.
  • Insurance: Manage IT asset insurance policies, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient claims processing.
  • E-Waste Management: Oversee the responsible disposal of IT assets in compliance with E-Waste Management Rules.

IT Infrastructure Management:

  • End-User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues and troubleshooting problems related to IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize IT infrastructure performance, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency.

Team Management:

  • Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Performance Management: Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to the IT team.
  • Professional Development: Encourage and support the professional development of team members through training and skill enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure and asset management, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good understanding of IT Infra processes and best practices.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
