Title: Team Member - Electronics Hardware Design

Qualification : Must have First class degree in B.E./B.Tech - Electronics Engineering with minimum experience of 6 years

Job Location : Vadodara


JOB RESPONSIBILITY :


1) Interface with customers for electronics requirements gathering, prepare requirements compliance

report (TFSO), fill product specification sheet, review GA dwg and get customer approval on CTQs.

2) Create B-Diagram, P-Diagram, Interface Matrix & DFMEA as per AIAG 4th Edition requirements.

3) Electronics Hardware Schematic design and circuit simulation in the areas of protection, control and

monitoring for automotive and process industries.

4) Co-ordinate with cross-functional team members for space availability, mounting design, boundary

conditions, software development and conduct necessary simulation to optimize PCB design.

5) Perform Design & Development activities like - design specification finalization, design calculations,

hardware schematic circuit design/capture, components selection & placement, routing, PCB/PWB

materials and technologies selection, PCB layout design etc. using MCAD/ECAD softwares - Altium

Designer, Orcad, PADS, EasyEDA, Proteus etc.

6) Create electrical drawings required for PCB/PWBs design using CAD software – SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc.

7) Lead electronics design to meet - Form/Fit/Function, Manufacturing, Assembly, Reliability/Quality, Cost,

Service, EHS/RoHS, etc. using DFx and DFSS tools with minimum supervision.

8) Create Design Validation Plan (DVP) based on product requirements, write Test Procedures, define

pass/fail criteria and provide inputs for Test set-up/equipment design.

9) Conduct Design Reviews and get CFT/Customer sign-off before design release for proto-build/mfg.

10) Prepare design documents required for various product certification independently including IOM.

11) Provide technical support for electronics components and PCB/PWB suppliers selection, prototype build

and continuous improvement efforts during production.

12) Lead resolution of supplier / production / design validation failure / customer complaints using 8D

process (RCA and CAPA) and implement design changes thru ECRN process with minimum supervision.

13) Maintain project folder as per applicable QMS system – ISO/AS/IATF and face internal and external

audits with minimum supervision

14) Prioritize, balance and manage multiple tasks with sense of urgency in changing environment, with

available resources

15) Train GETs and Design Engineers on electronics/PCB design and development activities.

16) Be the SPOC for all electronics design activities and provide status updates/clarifications to PM/HOD/CFT members and management on regular basis.

Software Skills : Altium Designer, Orcad, PADS, EasyEDA, Proteus, AutoCAD, Solidworks etc.

Tools Knowledge : 8D Problem Solving, Fishbone Diagram, 5-Why Analysis, DFx Review, VA/VE

Process Knowledge : PCB Manufacturing, Design Validation, PPAP

Soft Skills : Good Communication in English and Hindi, Inter-personnel skills, Presentation Skills
