Embedded Systems Hardware Architect
Responsibilities:Complete Hardware Design & Development of embedded control boards (Analog & Digital) using Altium or similar tools.Selection of Microcontroller, Digital Signal Processor/Controllers, FPGAs as needed.Perform testing, troubleshooting, validation (at board and system level).Responsible for schematics captures, layout check, BOM creation and debugging and testing.PCB development for gate driversCreate fluent technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc.Work closely with firmware, software, and mechanical team to achieve common goals.Participate in product design reviews, own hardware issues to provide solutions either in design or at production.Participate in lab development, test automation and productivity improvement initiatives Will be responsible for hardware design, bring up, certification and production release.
QualificationsBTech in Electronics & CommunicationsMust have a minimum of 8 years of experience working in Embedded Hardware design including experience on digital, analog, and mixed signal circuit design.Expertise in Power supply design, battery management, ADCs, memories, buffers, drivers, amplifiers, Micro controller design and different hardware protocols (UART, I2C, SPI etc.)Hands on experience with Altium, Allegro, Mentor Graphics PADs and CAM350.Good Knowledge on Power Electronics Circuits Design (Thyristors, MOSFET, IGBT, Solid State Switches, Op-to Isolator etc.)Proven track record of working with test lab equipment and simulation tools.Hands on Experience in Schematic design, PCB review, Circuit simulation.Design optimization techniques for performance, cost, and manufacturabilityGood understanding of EMI/EMC and their impact on hardwareExperience developing design notes for designs and test cases for board bring-up.
