Designation: SPPID AdministratorLocation- MumbaiExperience: 6-15 yearsJob Type: Permanent-Key Responsibilities:System Setup & Maintenance:-Configure and maintain the SPPID reference database.-Create and manage symbology, filters, reports, and system documentation.-Ensure daily backup routines and system integrity.Project Support:-Aid in technical requirements gathering and client meetings.-Implement new SPPID builds and project-specific customizations.-Troubleshoot and resolve P&ID-related issues.Data Management:-Manage data transfers, MTO downloads, and report generation.-Populate data from external sources (e.g., Excel) into SPPID.Quality Assurance:-Develop and enforce auditing requirements.-Ensure compliance with client and departmental drafting standards.Training & Documentation:-Conduct user and advanced-level training sessions.-Create detailed work instructions and setup documentation.Integration & Automation:-Integrate SPPID with tools like SPF, COMOS, and Excel.-Support automation enhancements and evaluate new software versions.Required Skills & Qualifications:-Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.-6–15 years of experience in SPPID administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors.-In-depth knowledge of SPPID modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.).-Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL) and Smart Plant Foundation.-Experience with integration of SPPID with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.).-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
