Job Title: Senior Accounts SpecialistLocation: Newtown, KolkataExperience: 5 -9 yearsIndustry: Chemical and MaterialsAbout the Company: Our client company is a leading global manufacturer in the chemical and packaging sector, specializing in sustainable solutions that support industries worldwide.Job Summary: The client company is expanding its rPET (recycled PET) value chain operations in India. To support the accounting and compliance operations of its new rPET trading entity, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Specialist to join the team in Kolkata.The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, invoicing, and compliance, with hands-on experience in SAP ERP and stakeholder management.Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting and invoicing operations in SAP.- Ensure timely billing, customer invoicing, and coordination with manufacturing units and customers.- Handle vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.- Prepare and maintain financial statements and support finalization of books of accounts.- Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, and other local regulations.- Support statutory and tax audits, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.- Assist in MIS reporting, reconciliations, and maintaining documentation for all trading transactions.- Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, and Tax teams for compliance and reporting requirements.Qualifications and Skills Required- Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce/ CA- Strong accounting foundation with 5-9 years of experience in GL, AP, AR, audit, invoicing.- Proven ability to independently manage full-cycle accounting- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (must have) and MS Excel- Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams (Finance, Commercial, Tax, and Operations).- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills with attention to accuracy and timelines.- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - both internal and external.- Ability to work in a fast-evolving business setup and contribute to process improvement and scalability.Interested candidates can send your CV atEmail: Phone:
