Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Security Engineer with strong hands-on skills in Forcepoint DLP and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solutions. The role includes deployment, administration, and troubleshooting of data security platforms, incident handling , and coordination with internal teams and OEMs . This individual will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization's overall security posture.

Department:  Security Services / Cybersecurity Delivery

Key Responsibilities :

·       DLP & DSPM Administration:

o  Design , deploy, and manage Forcepoint DLP and data classification solutions across endpoints, networks, email, and cloud environments.

o  Oversee the maintenance and health monitoring of deployed DLP and DSPM solutions.

o  Implement new policies and rule sets in coordination with the offsite security team or OEM .

o  Monitor and troubleshoot log source integrations with deployed platforms .

o  Generate and review daily system health reports , dashboards, and incident summaries.

o  Handle all DLP and DSPM incidents end-to-end until closure with proper RCA and documentation .

o  Coordinate with the OEM for:

§ Incident validation and analysis

§ Solution recommendations

§ Escalation resolution

§ Query handling and technical support

·       Cross-Team Collaboration & Coordination:

o  Work closely with internal IT, Security, Network, Cloud, and Application teams for:

§ Incident response and ticket follow-ups

§ UAT and rollout of solutions to additional agents

§ Integration of third-party systems (cloud, on-prem, network, security) with DLP/DSPM tools

§ Act as L2/L3 escalation point for DLP-related issues and service requests.

·       Governance & Risk Monitoring:

o  Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory mandates

o  Monitor risk and quality metrics for DLP and DSPM solutions and proactively drive remediation efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.

·        3–5 years of hands-on experience in data security, with expertise in:

o  Forcepoint DLP and preferably Forcepoint DSPM

o  Data classification frameworks and technologies

o  End point, email, and cloud data protection

·        Familiar with integration of DLP tools with third-party platforms (SIEM, UEBA, IAM, M365, etc.).

o  Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and data governance best practices.

o  Abili ty to analyze logs, investigate alerts, and write correlation rules or policies.

Preferred Certifications:

·        Forcepoint DLP Certified Professional

·        (Optional): CDPSE, CIPP, CEH, or other data security/privacy certifications

Soft Skills:

·        Excellent communication and coordination skills across teams and vendors

·        Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation abilities

·        Proven capability to handle incidents and escalations with a sense of urgency
