SUMMARY OF ROLEAs a Team Lead - Accounting at Pearce Services, you will play a vital role in our finance department, not only as a sound accounting professional but also as a leader who takes ownership of their responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing a team of 10-15 people from the Finance team and ensuring the accurate and efficient management of our financial transactions and records.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESthe accounting team in month end closing procedures and support annual financial audits.and assess the performance of team members, providing regular feedback and conducting performances evaluations.accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, and logs.Strong leadership to the accounting team, setting clear expectations and goals.and oversee accounting related entries for accuracy and completeness in registers, journals, and logs.and supervise vendor uploads, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accounts payable and receivables process.uploads for various allocations, verifying correct expense distribution and calculations.accrual reports and amortization schedules to support accurate financial reporting.strict adherence to established accounting processes and policies.responsibility for importing detailed accounting journals into the ERP accounting system, maintaining data integrity.and participate in ad-hoc projects to enhance the efficiency of the accounting department.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTSleadership experience in a professional accounting context.at least 5 years’ experience overall and 3 years of team (5-10 people) handling experience.ability to apply and guide team members in accounting fundamentals.proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., NetSuite), with the ability to lead its implementation and usage.leading the use of expense reporting and paperless accounts payable/receivable software systems (expensify, tipalti, bill.com etc.).leadership in utilizing Advanced Excel features, including PIVOT tables and VLOOKUPs, and guiding the team in their use.of MS Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, and ability to lead the team in their effective use.have experience in NS / QuickBooks / My Dynamics / SAP.knowledge or understanding of Salesforce (a plus)in Accounting or Finance (or the equivalent of experience/education)skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.should be Post Graduate/CA-inter.additional experience in Financial Analysis, M&A support, Taxation is a plus.
