Outcomes (12 months)
- Accuracy: ≥ 99.9% calc accuracy on priority plans; 0 Sev‑1 payroll misses.
- Speed: New/changed plans from signed design → prod in ≤ 4 weeks; minor CRs in ≤ 3 days.
- Data quality: Automated checks cover ≥95% of inbound records; reject rate trending down quarter over quarter.
- Reconciliation: Variance by T+1 of payroll; disputes resolved within SLA.
- Documentation: 100% coverage of plans, crediting, rate tables, data mappings, and runbooks.
What you’ll do
- Implement & configure SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud): plans, crediting rules, rate tables, quotas, calendars, territories/positions, hierarchies, and effective‑dating/versioning.
- Build/operate Data Loader jobs and integration pipelines from CRM/ERP (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle); design mappings, dedupe/identity resolution, and load schedules.
- Translate U.S. sales comp models (accelerators, draws, caps, guarantees, ramps, overrides, SPIFs, quota attainment) into precise system logic.
- Create unit/system tests, perform end‑to‑end UAT with masked data, and validate results against back‑of‑the‑envelope math.
- Own reconciliations to payroll outputs; investigate variances with SQL and source data trails.
- Configure statements/reports, disputes/adjustments, and support enhancement cycles.
- Keep technical docs tidy: configuration specs, data dictionaries, test cases, and runbooks.
How you’ll (sensibly) use GenAI & modern tools
- Use Cursor/Copilot to draft SQL, generate edge‑case test data, and scaffold documentation—then verify every result.
- Use scripts/notebooks to sanity‑check rate tables, tiers, and crediting with quick visualizations.

Required qualifications
- 3–8 years hands‑on with SAP Commissions (CallidusCloud) configuration and data validation.
- Strong grasp of U.S. sales compensation models (base + variable, accelerators, draws, caps, overrides, SPIFs, quota/attainment, territory‑based incentives).
- Proficiency in SQL for analysis and troubleshooting; comfort with Data Loader and reporting modules.
- Experience validating CRM/ERP feeds and end‑to‑end data flows; high attention to detail; self‑directed delivery.
Nice to have
- Exposure to payroll cycles, SOX/controls, dispute workflows, and audit requirements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data model, SAP/Oracle ERP feeds, ETL tools, or a cloud data warehouse.
- Scripting (Python) for data prep; dashboarding (Looker Studio/Tableau/Power BI).
