Are You Our Ideal Candidate?

We are seeking a skilled MEAN Stack Developer with 4-7 years of experience in building robust backend systems. You should have a deep understanding of micro-services architecture, database design, and a passion for developing efficient and scalable solutions. Experience with taxi booking, food delivery & on-demand service applications is a plus, as is familiarity with APIs such as Google Maps. Those with fintech, crypto, subscription domain should apply.


What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
  • Architect and manage MongoDB databases to ensure data integrity, security, and efficiency.
  • Build and integrate APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party services.
  • Implement and maintain secure payment gateway integrations.
  • Integrate external services such as SMS gateways and email systems, and manage a microservices architecture.
  • Optimise code and APIs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers (iOS/Android) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Ensure high-performance and responsive backend systems.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience working with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
  • Strong proficiency in micro-services architecture, database (MongoDB), and API design and integration.
  • Proven experience with payment gateway integration and working with third-party services.
  • Expertise in Google Maps APIs and optimizing code and APIs.
  • Ability to understand and collaborate on front-end development processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with native iOS/Android development (a plus).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Previous experience in ride-hailing, food delivery, or on-demand applications is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture principles.
