About the Indirect Taxes Team: Taxsutra’s Indirect Taxes (IDT) Team is known for its reliable and comprehensive coverage of GST, service tax, customs, and excise. The team closely tracks legal and policy developments — from court proceedings and judgments to notifications, circulars, and the Union Budget. Role Overview: We are looking for an early-career professional (3–5 years of experience) in tax research, writing, and analysis to join our Indirect Tax team. You’ll be responsible for supporting the GST function through in-depth research, interpretation, and compilation of indirect tax laws and regulations. This role offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to build strong expertise in indirect tax. Qualifications: CA, LLB, LLM, or CS Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax Prior experience in tax writing, research, or knowledge management will be an advantage Key Responsibilities: Conduct research and analysis of indirect tax laws across jurisdictions Interpret and summarize legislative and policy changes Prepare concise and accurate summaries and reports Maintain and regularly update tax databases and content repositories Skills & Attributes: Strong research and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication in English High attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and responsible, with the ability to handle urgent tasks Eager to learn and grow in the field of indirect tax Why Join Us: This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your expertise in indirect tax research while working with one of India’s most trusted tax intelligence platforms.
