Role Description
Blingbird, a premier luxury travel agency, is seeking an experienced and passionate Luxury Travel Consultant specializing in the European region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing bespoke, experiential itineraries for our discerning travelers, ensuring every journey exceeds expectations and creates unforgettable memories. This role involves close collaboration with top luxury travel partners across Europe and managing the end-to-end requirements of our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create set of ready to share tailored travel itineraries that becomes the reference document for guests to get their first hand work started.
- Create tailored travel itineraries that offer unique and authentic experiences, catering to the specific interests and preferences of each client.
- Incorporate luxury accommodations, exclusive tours, private transfers, gourmet dining, and other high-end experiences into the travel plans.
Client Consultation:
- Engage with clients to understand their travel aspirations, preferences, and requirements.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, activities, and experiences to ensure a perfect match for their interests.
Create tailored travel itineraries
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with top luxury travel partners, including hotels, tour operators, and transportation services across Europe.
- Negotiate exclusive deals and packages that provide added value to our clients.
End-to-End Guest Management:
- Handle all aspects of travel planning and coordination, including booking accommodations, transportation, activities, and dining reservations.
- Provide comprehensive pre-departure information and support to clients.
- Ensure seamless execution of the travel itinerary, addressing any issues or changes promptly and efficiently.
Quality Assurance:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided by travel partners.
- Gather and analyze client feedback to continually enhance service offerings and client satisfaction.
Market Research and Trends:
- Stay updated on the latest travel trends, emerging destinations, and exclusive experiences in the luxury travel market.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities for creating innovative travel itineraries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Travel Consultant, with a strong focus on luxury travel and the European region.
- Proven track record in designing and managing high-end, customized travel itineraries.
Skills:
- Exceptional knowledge of European destinations, luxury accommodations, and exclusive experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and partners.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure premium deals.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering the highest level of service.
Education:
- Graduate/ Bachelor’s degree
- Preference given - Education in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate clients in different time zones.
- Preference given - Proficiency in travel planning software and CRM systems.
