Position: Business Development Associate 

Location: Chennai

Job Summary:

MH Cockpit seeks a passionate and goal-oriented Business Development Associate to drive growth across its two primary divisions. The ideal candidate will excel at lead generation, building professional relationships, and achieving business targets while contributing to the organization’s vision of transforming the education ecosystem. 

Responsibilities

Education Consulting Division:

- Provide personalized counselling to students on college admissions, guiding them through the enrolment journey. 

- Drive and achieve targeted admission numbers and maintain high conversion rates. 

- Build and maintain strong relationships with college administrators and institutional stakeholders. 

Education Solutions Division:

- Generate leads through outreach, market research, and networking within the education sector. 

- Organize and deliver engaging workshops, seminars, and product demonstrations for schools and colleges.

- Identify opportunities to tailor solutions for institutional needs and convert leads into partnerships. 

Shared Responsibilities:

- Update and manage the CRM system to track leads, interactions, and performance metrics. 

- Meet and exceed quarterly sales and business development targets. 

- Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and enhance client engagement. 

- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve. 

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. 

Experience and Skills:

1. Experience: 1-3 years in business development, sales, or education consulting. 

2. Skills: Exceptional communication, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities. 

3. Performance: Proven history of achieving and exceeding targets. 

4. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CRM tools like Zoho and salesforce. 

5. Mobility: Willingness to travel for business development and client engagements. 

Desirable Skills:

- Background in the education sector or related fields. 

- Knowledge of sales analytics and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
