Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial and strategic guidance to clients on a range of business matters, including tax planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and investment decisions.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Conduct audits, reviews, and evaluations of financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advise clients on business restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and regulatory compliance to optimize financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and industry standards to provide clients with timely, accurate, and relevant advice and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and responsiveness to client needs and objectives.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to support their growth and success in the profession.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification or equivalent professional designation.
  • Proven experience in public accounting, audit, or consulting roles, with a track record of delivering high-quality client service and solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess complex financial situations and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, financial modeling tools, and Microsoft Office suite.

Skills:

  • Financial Advisory: Providing strategic financial advice, tax planning, and risk management guidance to clients.
  • Audit and Assurance: Conducting audits, reviews, and evaluations of financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Preparing and reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication, collaboration, and responsiveness.
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Mentoring and coaching junior staff members, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.

Preferred:

  • Advanced certifications or specialization in areas such as forensic accounting, business valuation, or financial planning.
  • Experience with industry-specific accounting standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in accounting and finance.
