Role & responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data storage, and telecommunication systems.
  • System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and manage the implementation of new technologies, upgrades, and patches to improve system efficiency.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all systems are secure and compliant with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of IT specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with other departments to align IT infrastructure with business goals.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Disaster Recovery and Backup: Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and maintain backups to protect data.
  • Vendor and Budget Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and control the IT budget to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor system performance, identifying potential improvements and ensuring uptime.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, and procedures for internal use and audits.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
