Position Summary:

The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging customer needs, business goals, and technical execution. Working closely with US-based Customer Success, India-based Development, and Design teams, this role focuses on defining product requirements, managing feature lifecycles, and ensuring that end-user experiences are continuously improved.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. You will own the documentation of requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive feature delivery from concept to release while building empathy for users and aligning product development with organizational strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Planning & Strategy

  • Partner with stakeholders (Customer Success, Sales, Leadership) to gather business needs and translate them into product priorities.
  • Maintain and refine the product roadmap in alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends to inform product direction.

2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation

  • Lead discovery sessions with internal teams and customers to identify requirements.
  • Write clear and detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain product documentation including workflows, wireframes, and release notes.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Act as the liaison between customer-facing teams and development teams.
  • Provide context and clarity to developers during sprints, ensuring features are aligned with end-user expectations.
  • Join sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and product demos to validate feature progress.
  • Coordinate with design teams to ensure intuitive UX and seamless user flows.

4. Feature Execution & Delivery

  • Own the lifecycle of assigned features from ideation to launch.
  • Define success metrics and track KPIs for product adoption, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Support QA/UAT processes by reviewing features, validating requirements, and coordinating defect resolution.

5. Customer-Centric Insights

  • Synthesize customer feedback (support tickets, onboarding notes, product usage) into actionable product insights.
  • Attend select customer meetings to observe pain points and validate proposed solutions.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to prioritize features that drive measurable improvements in customer experience.

6. Administrative & Organizational Support

  • Maintain product dashboards and documentation repositories.
  • Prepare reports for leadership on roadmap progress, release status, and customer impact.
  • Track product-related tasks in project management tools (e.g., , ADO, Trello).

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.An MBA is a plus.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or customer-facing SaaS/technology roles.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with design, development, and customer-facing teams.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, Trello).
  • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, Google Workspace, MS Office).
  • Understanding of SaaS metrics and customer experience platforms (HubSpot, Zendesk).
  • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) to collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers.

Soft Skills

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across U.S. and India teams.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving mindset.
  • High attention to detail and ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
