Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Travel Operations to lead our travel and experience hosting operations at our Jaipur office. The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about the travel and experiences economy, with a strong appreciation for art and culture. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage complex itineraries, guide guests through enriching experiences, and effectively collaborate with artists and stakeholders to deliver unforgettable travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of travel and experience hosting, ensuring seamless execution of itineraries and high-quality guest interactions.
- Experience Design and Curation: Develop and refine art-based travel experiences that showcase Rajasthan’s cultural assets. Work closely with local artists to create engaging, educational, and enjoyable activities for guests.
- Guest Relations: Serve as a senior host and point of contact for guests, providing expert guidance and ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay. Handle any issues that arise with professionalism and care.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of guides, hosts, and operational staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of operations, guest feedback, and experience quality. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to demonstrate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with local businesses, tourism boards, and cultural institutions to enhance the overall value of the travel experiences offered. Negotiate collaborations and partnerships that benefit both Rajasthan Studio and the broader community.
- Marketing Support: Assist the marketing team by providing insights into guest preferences and trends. Participate in promotional activities and represent Rajasthan Studio at industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in Art History or Cultural Studies is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the travel industry, specifically in roles involving guest management, itinerary planning, and experience hosting.
- Demonstrated passion for arts and culture, with prior experience working in environments that involve artistic or cultural engagement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in creating engaging presentations and detailed reports.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
