Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Credit Risk Manager to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in credit risk management within the fintech or NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) sector. As a Credit Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and managing credit risk exposure, ensuring the stability and sustainability of our supply chain finance operations.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective clients by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information.
- Develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor and assess credit risk exposure across the portfolio, identifying potential risks and opportunities for mitigation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, underwriting, and operations teams and Tech team, to streamline credit assessment processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct periodic reviews and stress testing of credit portfolios to identify emerging trends and potential areas of concern.
- Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends related to credit risk management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in credit risk management, preferably in a fintech or NBFC environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess creditworthiness.
- Knowledge of credit risk modeling techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
