Job Description:

Civil & Structural

  • Shall be able to carryout design of RCC structure and Steel structures using softwaretools as well as manual calculations in a giventimeline.
  • Shall have exposure to the design ofIndustrial structures / elements used in Steel plants/ Powerplants/ Hydrocarbon/ Chemical/ Automobile plants like foundation /superstructure of technological building structure structuraltowers (like mill tower transfer tower / junction house) tankswarehouse pump house silos Conveyors etc.
  • Exposure to the other areas / plants / sectors likeAirports Metro High speed rail Sewage treatment system Watertreatment system etc will be an added advantage.
  • Shall be able to perform his role by leading the Projectfrom the inception to the construction including facing ClientContractors / Suppliers and other stakeholders involved in Projectexecution.
  • Shall be able to arrive at optimumdesign solutions including value engineering.
  • Shall be able to estimate the quantity quickly based onexperience for the inputs to Business Development for tenderpurpose.
  • Attend site queries able to issuesite modification sketches to support on a real timebasis.
  • Shall be able to prioritize theassignments based on the Project / Site demand.
  • Shall have ability to perform interdepartmental check /coordination to ensure zero gap in interdisciplinarydelivery.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate withother disciplines.
  • Exposure to Indianstandards and international standards
  • Shallhave good command on the software tools like AutoCAD 3D modellingtool or any other design software as necessary for thesuperstructure & substructure design.
  • Shall have good and fluent communication includingwriting skills.
  • Review 3D Models from team /subconsultants and Contractor.
  • Record thelesson learnt from each project and implement it across ongoing andnew Projects.
  • Shall be open to travel to theClient office for technical discussions.
  • Shallhave design experience of working in green and brown fieldProjects

MinimumBachelors in Engineering

(Civil)

812 years ofexperience in design of Industrial structures / elements used inSteel plants/ Power plants/ Hydrocarbon/ Chemical/ Automobileplants like foundation / superstructure of technological buildingstructure structural towers (like mill tower transfer tower /junction house) tanks warehouse pump house silos Conveyorsetc.

Exposure to othersectors like Airports Metro High speed rail Sewage treatment systemWater treatment system etc will have added advantage

Computer / software tool experience / Codes &Standards

  • Knowledge in Design software likeSTAAD Pro (Must) ETABS SAFE & AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge in International Codes like Euro Codes ACIcodes etc will be an added advantage.
  • AdvancedPC skills specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word ExcelOutlook & PowerPoint).
