Job briefWe are looking for an experienced Operations Manager-Technical to oversee all building-related activities of a Data Centre. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool. The goal is to ensure our business’s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.Responsibilities for Facilities Manager

1. Maintain SLA of Data Centre facilities as per guidelines.2. Maintain uptime of Data centre facilities as per commitment.3. Customer management & handling customer escalations.4. Manpower management & recruitment of suitable candidates within budget.5. Team management, team bonding, attrition management.6.Attendance management, Report management, vendor management.7. Review meetings with customer & company senior management.8. Invoice, compliance management.9. Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments.10. Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards11. Inspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations12. Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly13. Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.14. Maintain stock levels and parts within budget15. Ensure compliance with state regulations and assist with energy management.16. Oversee security of buildings and grounds.17. Maintain ongoing communication with contractors, clients, and team18. Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments19. Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards20. Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations21. Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs22. Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors23. Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.24. Allocate office space according to needs25. Handle vendor, OEM AMC and service contracts26. Keep financial and non-financial records.27. Perform analysis and forecasting

Qualifications for Facilities Manager

1.

in Electrical /Mechanical + 8 Years’ experience in Electrical, AC, Lift, DG Set & Fire,IBMS & IT security. Prince2/PMP certified.years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions3. Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations4. Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management5. Must be a well-organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter6. Strong procurement and negotiation skills7. Proven experience as facilities manager or relevant position8. Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices9. Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills11. Excellent organizational and leadership skills12. Good analytical/critical thinking
