Role Overview
This is a hybrid leadership role combining the expertise of an SEO Manager with that of a Web Development Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee both SEO strategy and execution as well as website development, optimization, and technical infrastructure. The role requires a balance of strategic vision, technical know-how, and hands-on implementation. You will be responsible for driving organic growth, managing web development projects, and ensuring seamless technical performance across client websites.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
● Define and lead comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with client goals and KPIs.
● Conduct advanced SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, UI/UX, competitor, local SEO).
● Oversee keyword strategy, content planning, and optimization across multiple platforms.
● Implement on-page SEO best practices: metadata, headings, schema, internal linking, keyword placement.
● Optimize local SEO presence (Google Business Profile, citations, reviews, directories).
● Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, user behavior, and conversions using GA4, GSC, MS Clarity, and Looker Studio.
● Ensure compliance with evolving search engine algorithms and industry standards.
Web Development & Technical Management
● Manage and supervise website development projects from planning to deployment.
● Collaborate with design, content, and SEO teams to build SEO-friendly websites.
● Ensure website performance through technical fixes: crawlability, site speed, mobile optimization, indexability, structured data.
● Lead integration of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Magento, custom PHP/JS frameworks).
● Oversee hosting, server management, and liaise with providers to resolve technical issues.
● Implement GA4, GTM, and third-party tool integrations for performance tracking.
● Ensure websites follow best practices in UI/UX, accessibility, and security.
Team Leadership & Process Management
● Lead cross-functional teams of SEO executives and web developers.
● Delegate, track, and review tasks ensuring timely and quality delivery.
● Train and mentor teams on SEO tools, coding best practices, and development workflows.
● Collaborate with project managers to define timelines and allocate resources effectively.
● Establish SOPs, documentation, and QA processes for SEO and development projects.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Marketing, or a related field.

● Proven track record of delivering measurable SEO growth and managing web development projects.
● Strong technical expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and familiarity with frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js preferred).
● Proficiency in CMS platforms: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Magento.
● Expertise in SEO tools: GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, MS Clarity, Looker Studio.
● Hands-on experience in server management, hosting, and cloud platforms.
● Google Analytics / SEO certifications preferred.
