Responsibilities:

  • Website Maintenance: Regularly monitor, maintain, and update our website and mobile application hosting to ensure seamless functionality and optimal user experience.
  • Coding and Development: Utilise coding knowledge to implement new features, enhancements, and functionalities across digital platforms as required.
  • Bug Detection and Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and glitches promptly to minimise downtime and maintain platform reliability.
  • Performance Optimisation: Conduct performance analysis and implement optimisation strategies to enhance website and app speed, responsiveness, and overall performance.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard against cyber threats, ensuring data integrity and user privacy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and stakeholders to coordinate updates, resolve issues, and implement changes effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of website and app configurations, updates, and troubleshooting procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of website and app updates to ensure compatibility, functionality, and usability across various devices and browsers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience - 2-5 Years in web application development
  • Proven experience in hosting services, web infrastructure, cloud services like AWS, and integration of payment & email gateways, 3rd party ecommerce platforms, CRM tools and others.
  • Proven experience in website management, with proficiency in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue), and publishing platforms like Wordpress.
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile app development methodologies, including responsive design principles and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, with expertise in bug fixing and debugging techniques.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and mobile app development platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Android Studio, Xcode) preferred.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and protocols is a plus.
