Location: Bangalore, India

Salary: ₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month

Experience: 12 to 20 years in pharmaceutical sales (Cardiac & Diabetes)

Industry: Pharmaceuticals

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sales Manager – South India to lead our sales operations in the cardiac and diabetes therapeutic segments. The ideal candidate should have a strong network of key doctors and healthcare professionals across the southern market of India and a proven track record of driving sales and market expansion .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets in the southern region.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, strengthen market presence, and expand the company's reach in key cities across South India.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key cardiologists, diabetologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals in the region.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team to drive performance and achieve sales objectives.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaboration with Marketing & Medical Teams: Work closely with the marketing and medical teams to execute brand strategies, CMEs, doctor engagements, and awareness programs.
  • Sales Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular sales reports, track KPIs, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 12 to 20 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry , specifically in the cardiac and diabetes segments .
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the southern Indian pharmaceutical market , including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other key cities.
  • Doctor Network: Well-connected with leading cardiologists, diabetologists, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the region.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and managing sales teams with a focus on performance and business growth.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration ; an MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred.
