Global Cash Asset Management Vision
Cash Asset Management are a firmwide utility that provides End- to-End Cash Management that enables treasury to effectively manage the firm's balance sheet. The global team delivers operational and strategic support to Treasury CIO. Including cash position projections, predictions, and post cash movement analysis on managed accounts. Automation and enhancement of the cash movement processes and remediation of the existing cash Nostro landscape, to improve account data quality, strengthen controls and address lost revenues, increased costs, and operational inefficiencies.
Job responsibilities
The Cash Asset Operational Lead will work with the Cash Asset Management Leadership Team and Service Owners, to achieve all associated organisational and workforce aligned objectives. in support of our key values, ensuring the right cash, is in the right place, at the right time, with maximum transparency.
Lead the Operations Teams in offshore locations to meet expectations of all CAM service beneficiaries, in particular for client experience, risk and controls, resiliency, process improvements and standardisation of service offering Identify, monitor and manage through metrics that matter Provide accurate , appropriate and timely progress reporting, highlighting risks and issues Allocation and prioritisation of resources to ensure all services are equipped to meet the standards expected from our internal clients To set a diverse, inclusive, positive and sustainable culture Identify, assess, manage and report the performance of operational individuals Meet all financial objectives Visualisation of data to drive decision making, prioritisation and continuous improvement Build strong relationships with key partners (Settlement Operations, Finance Controllers, Product Controllers, Cash Asset Class Controllers) Participate in location initiatives with team members and global managers, looking for ways to continually simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes and working practices Involvement and ownership of key global strategic initiativesRequired qualification, skills and capabilities:
Experience in Cash Management, Treasury, Finance or Accounting Experience of Business Intelligence capability such as Tableau/Alteryx/Qlikview etc. Leadership, development and performance management of a team, as part of a broader global organisation Takes responsibility and ownership for issues and follows through to resolution with timely and relevant communications Promotes an inclusive work environment, respects individuals at every level and leverages an agile and flexible style Excellent prioritisation, planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and to act with own initiative Strong interpersonal skills, confident in both verbal and written communication at all levels, Influencing action and change Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally at all levels to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes Analytical mindset with ability to perform meaningful analysis, understand and explain underlying drivers (., tell the story behind the numbers) Strong data centric and problem-solving mindset Change management - challenge the status quo and be disciplined in implementing project plans Desire to receive feedback and continuously improve, demonstrating a growth mindset-
