Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced “Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME)” to join Financial Services Entity. This individual will Perform research and provide solutioning for various business needs from clients across insurance value chain, with a strong emphasis on developing and driving value propositions across Health, Life, PnC domain. The role also includes the responsibility of crafting and executing Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies which enable in upsell/cross sell initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

- Insurance data and analytics domain expert who can provide strategical and tactical advisory services on data solutions and consult with the senior business leaders.- Experience in conceptualizing and building value proposition catering for US Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Property & Casualty domain- Experience in designing data/analytics (including BI, predictive model and data solutions) across insurance business functions like Claims, Distribution, Product, Marketing, Underwriting, Finance etc.- Understands insurance regulatory environment and market across insurance products.- Provide technical direction/support to project team members across data modeling, data manipulation, visualization, predictive modeling, Reporting and Automation projects across Insurance Value Chain.- Conduct sessions to understand the clients’ needs utilizing standard and innovative consulting skills to deliver an optimal recommendation.- Participate and own various new RFPs, work with various SMEs to research and develop technical/business case studies.- Brainstorming on pain areas/Identifying reasons for issues/Issue Resolution, diagnosis of inefficiencies in the current process and figuring out ways to resolve it.- Develop business proposals, facilitate client working sessions, team up with technology professions and/or third-party strategic alliances to conduct solutioning exercises based on clients’ needs.- Proactively manage diverse teams and their expectations including career progression, skill development or other people management aspects- Ensure Industry best practices are followed, Communicate and follow up with delivery team.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field, a Master’s degree is preferred.- Certifications: Any Professional certifications in Insurance will be preferred, such as- AINS (Associate in General Insurance),- CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor),- CPCA (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter)

Experience:

At least 8-10 years of experience in Insurance business functions and processes (among Claims, Distribution, Marketing, Products & Underwriting, Finance etc.) with exposure to Health/Life/PnC domain is preferred

Technical Skills: Proficiency in prominent tools like SQL/SAS/Python/Tableau will be preferred

Business Skills: Good grasp in conducting business workshops, architecting solutions, benchmarking industry solutions and recommending best-in class approach for solution delivery

Knowledge: Establish industry standard framework for absorbing the latest development in the industry.

- Strong analytical and strategic skills with a focus on ideation, value creation, and GTM execution.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven success in building cross-functional collaborations.- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.- Experience in working in dual shore engagement and must have experience in managing large programs – Insurance Analytics CoE and multiple clients directly.- Able to build a collaborative, inclusive work environment that values professional growth and continuous learning.- Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
