Role Objectives:Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand the businessrequirements and develop Cognos Planning Analyticsapplications.Assume accountability for theintegrity accuracy and timeliness of reporting generated from theseapplications.Experience in handling largedatasets relational databases and distributed systems.Ability to write complex SQLs to perform data analysisactivities.Experience using analytical skillstools and techniques to investigate information and to drawconclusions.Analyze data across disparate datasources to support requirements identify data integrationrequirements to support the build.Ability toperform datalineage/traceability/reconciliation activities asrequired to support user inquiries.Preparerunbooks methods of procedures documents and present the same tobusiness teams.Ability to comprehend anddefine the scope of the project initiate test plan and execution oftesting initiatives as it relates to the project as well asmitigate any associated risk as it relates to the testingevent.Ability to define a project plan andadhere to target dates.Address productiondefects if any on time.Qualifications andSkillsBachelors degree in computer sciencefinance accounting or information systems.5 7years of Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics and Cognos BIexperience.Build/Modify TM1 Models TIProcesses Rules and Feeders.Build/ModifyCognos TM1/Planning Analytics active forms reports.Strong proficiency in SQL.Stronganalytical design debugging problem solving and investigativeskills.Understanding of business requirementsanalysis user acceptance testing and change managementtechniques.Tableau / Power BI/ Alteryxexperience preferred.Ability to workindependently or with a group.
