Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for a Commis Chef specializing in continental cuisine. The Commis Chef will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes according to the café's standards. Daily tasks include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, as well as ensuring that the food quality and presentation consistently meet customer expectations. The Commis Chef will also collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Food Preparation and Cooking
  • Culinary Skills and experience in continental cuisine
  • Knowledge of Hygiene standards and practices
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Culinary diploma or certification is preferred
