Position Overview:

As a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Specialist at you Biocon will play a key role in advancing our DEIB initiatives across the organization. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

- Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive DEIB strategy aligned with the company's mission and values.- Conduct regular assessments of current DEIB practices, policies, and procedures and recommend improvements to promote equity and inclusivity.- Design and deliver training programs on topics related to diversity, equity, inclusion, unconscious bias, cultural competence, and allyship for employees at all levels.- Partner with HR to ensure equitable recruitment, hiring, and retention practices, including implementing strategies to attract and retain diverse talent.- Serve as a resource and provide guidance to employees and managers on DEIB-related issues, including discrimination, harassment, and accommodations.- Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, community groups, and professional associations to enhance our DEIB initiatives and promote our employer brand.- Collect and analyze data on DEIB metrics, such as representation, employee engagement, and retention, and use insights to drive continuous improvement efforts.- Stay informed about best practices, trends, and legislation related to DEIB and recommend proactive measures to address emerging issues.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational psychology, sociology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, or related roles, preferably in a corporate environment.- Strong understanding of DEIB concepts, principles, and best practices, with a demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and social justice.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
