Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile App Testing Engineer to join our team and contribute to the quality assurance of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies, experience with various testing tools, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Utilize tools like Wireshark, Ethereal, and tcpdump to analyze network traffic and troubleshoot issues.
  • Demonstrate expertise in telecom domain and VoIP networks, with a deep understanding of protocols like SIP, VOIP, RTP/RTCP, DNS, SSL, TLS, TCP/UDP.
  • Leverage automation tools like Appium, Selenium, and SeeTest to create and execute automated test scripts.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and NodeJS.
  • Work with various databases and understand their role in mobile app testing.
  • Utilize cloud technology, such as Azure API and CLI, for testing purposes.
  • Employ tools like Jenkins, GIT, Putty, WinScp, SIPP, Postman, and defect tracking tools (JIRA, GitLab) effectively.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode.
  • Proactively troubleshoot problems from end to end (client-network-server).
  • Break down complex problems into manageable components for collaborative problem-solving.
  • Negotiate the scope of problems based on business understanding.
  • Identify innovative solutions to mitigate dependencies and risks.
  • Independently plan and execute deliveries.
  • Multitask effectively and work on a diverse range of requirements.
  • Actively share knowledge and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile app testing (Android, iOS, Feature Phones).
  • Strong understanding of mobile app testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with testing tools like Wireshark, Ethereal, and tcpdump.
  • Knowledge of telecom domain and VoIP networks.
  • Proficiency in SIP, VOIP, RTP/RTCP, DNS, SSL, TLS, TCP/UDP protocols.
  • Experience with automation tools like Appium, Selenium, and SeeTest.
  • Hands-on expertise in programming/scripting languages (Python, Shell, NodeJS).
  • Knowledge of various databases.
  • Exposure to cloud technology (Azure API/CLI).
  • Familiarity with Android Studio and Xcode.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
