Job Description:

We are looking for a
BOQ Engineer
with strong expertise in
civil construction
and
Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) works
to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
, handling
tenders
, and providing accurate cost estimates for civil and industrial projects. The candidate will also be responsible for
client interactions
,
negotiating orders
, and supporting the engineering team in project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed
    BOQs
    for civil construction and PEB projects.
  • Analyze
    drawings, specifications, and tender documents
    to estimate costs effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest construction technologies, material costs, and industry trends.
  • Meet with
    clients
    , understand project requirements, and
    negotiate terms
    to secure orders.
  • Coordinate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Prepare cost comparisons, rate analysis, and material take-offs as per project needs.
  • Assist in
    tender submissions
    and participate in bid discussions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
    (mandatory).
  • Minimum
    3 years of proven experience
    in BOQ preparation for
    civil
    and
    industrial projects
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    construction materials, costing, and estimation techniques
    .
  • Excellent negotiation and client-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
    .
  • Strong communication skills in
    English, Telugu, and Hindi
    preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
