Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

Defining and driving the overall design strategy and vision of process and utility

design for the company.

  1. Team Management:

Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and

creative environment.

  1. Process / Utility Project Oversight:

Overseeing the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are

delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Working closely with other departments like marketing, Project Management and

engineering to ensure cohesive and impactful design solutions.

  1. Process / Utility Design System & Standards:

Establishing and maintaining design principles, guidelines, and standards to ensure

consistency across all products and platforms.

  1. Client Interaction:

Meeting with clients to understand their needs, presenting design concepts, and

incorporating feedback.

Key Skills:

  1. Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in design software understanding design principles, and staying up-to-date

with the latest design technologies.

  1. Process / Utility Design :

Optimum design to match the cost , safety and quality requirements .

  1. Client Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and

presenting design concepts effectively.

  1. Creative Direction:

Providing clear creative direction and guidance to the design team, ensuring

alignment with the overall brand identity and business objectives.

  1. Mentorship and Development:

Investing in the growth and development of the design team, providing opportunities

for learning and skill enhancement.

  1. Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving design-related challenges, finding creative solutions, and

mitigating potential risks.

  1. Communication:

Effectively communicating design concepts, strategies, and progress to both internal

teams and external stakeholders.
