Job Summary


Join the CADFEM Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead and solve real-world engineering problems by deploying the Ansys products in their design workflows.


As a hands-on expert in Ansys Explicit Products (LS-Dyna, Autodyn, Forming), you will use engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support & perform professional services. You will be part of our vibrant technical community working within multi-disciplinary teams to advance your knowledge, experience, and business impact.


Essential Functions:


  • Lead/Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with Sales to create solutions to complex customers problems using LS-DYNA and other Ansys structural simulation software
  • Interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows; analyze how to address customers requirements using Ansys products and platform; articulate Ansys value proposition.
  • Assist in creating differentiating simulation solutions using the Ansys platform and products; deploy the solutions within customers’ design workflows
  • Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation techniques to provide highest level technical support for LS-DYNA users in various industries (Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Goods, etc.)
  • Develop competence as a subject matter expert and industry expert in one or more application areas and be a mentoring partner for our customers.
  • On an as-needed basis conduct webinars and trainings


Desired Candidate Profile:


  • Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical engineering
  • Strong fundamentals in Structural Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis, Nonlinear Materials & Dynamics
  • Experience in areas such as crash, impact, drop test, blast, forming, etc. using LS-Dyna or other commercial CAE tools (Abaqus, Radioss, Pam-Crash)
  • Familiarity with global test regulations (NHTSA, FMVSS, EuroNCAP, etc.) and third party test procedures (IIHS) is a Plus
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
  • Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time
