Position Overview:


We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate

will have at least 1 year of experience working in a production or media house environment.

They must be proficient in using tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.

Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background in shooting high-quality videos to

complement their editing skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product that aligns with the company's vision and brand standards
  • Ensure that all editing work is completed within established deadlines
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video content ideas
  • Utilize After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop to create visually engaging and dynamic videos
  • Manage and organize video files and assets for easy access and retrieval
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and quality
  • Maintain a high level of quality control by reviewing and proofing all video content before final delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve skills and knowledge


Requirements:


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Video Editor in a production or media house environment
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop
  • Strong understanding of video shooting techniques and equipment
  • Ability to shoot high-quality videos independently when required
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A portfolio of previous work demonstrating proficiency in video editing and shooting skills


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation techniques
  • Knowledge of color grading and audio editing techniques
  • Experience with video optimization for various platforms (e.g., social media, web, mobile)
