Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to assist in the management of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and aesthetically pleasing dishes.

Key Responsibilities:Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.Oversee culinary operations in all restaurant’s Kitchens, including Pastry, Tandoor Kitchen, Indian Kitchen, Main Kitchen, Chinese Kitchen, as well as stewarding operations.Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards.Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedules, and assess staff performance.Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.Develop new menu items and seasonal offerings in collaboration with the Head Chef.Supervise and motivate the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.Exceptional culinary skills and a creative approach to food preparation and presentation.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.Familiarity with industry best practices and kitchen hygiene standards.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
