Job Summary: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and optimizing IT infrastructure and platforms, including Microsoft Windows Server, shared storage, cloud services, virtualization, and Windows-based applications. Your work will ensure the high reliability, availability, and performance of the various systems and technologies supported by Panasonic Avionics. Major Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues within virtualization, shared storage, Windows Server operating systems, and Windows-based applications. Manage underlying technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Storage Area Network components, VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSAN, Azure, and Microsoft 365. Establish and implement policies, procedures, and technologies to ensure system security. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability. Participate in the design, review, and implementation of new platform, system, and application deployments. Develop and maintain training materials and system documentation. Ensure compliance with established policies, standards, and licensing agreements. Knowledge/Skill Requirements: Advanced technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, decentralized storage, and VMware technologies. Expertise in Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory, Internet Information Services (IIS), DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server Core. Experience with SQL Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Batch. Strong familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP networking, and information security principles. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes. Experience with ServiceNow and SolarWinds Orion monitoring platform. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 cloud solutions in a Hybrid configuration. Experience with standards such as ISO9001, ISO27001, PCI, and CIS Controls. Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of directly relevant IT infrastructure/platforms experience. Microsoft Server technology certifications. Other Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Travel up to 10% domestically/internationally as required.
