Job Title: FP&A Manager - Cosmetics Business

About the Role

As an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Manager for a vibrant Cosmetics business, you will drive financial insights, business partnering, and performance analysis for a high-growth portfolio. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of progressive FP&A, business finance, or commercial finance experience in the Cosmetics, FMCG, or Consumer Durables sectors. You will leverage advanced business analytics tools, including Power BI, to translate data into actionable strategies supporting commercial and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for the Cosmetics division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and group strategy.


• Analyse and report on business performance (revenue, gross margins, channel profitability, SG&A, working capital), highlighting variances and generating actionable insights.


• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to build robust business cases for new launches, promotions, and commercial growth initiatives.


• Develop and automate management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership using MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI or similar analytics platforms.


• Support SKU/category-level profitability analysis, pricing decisions, and evaluations of brand or marketing investments.


• Enhance forecasting accuracy and drive financial process improvements by utilizing business analytics tools and data visualization.


• Conduct capex evaluation, project feasibility studies, and ROI analyses for expansion or new business ventures.


• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, accruals, and financial analysis with adherence to internal controls and group policies.

Desired Candidate Profile


• 4-7 years of FP&A, business finance, commercial finance, or related experience in Cosmetics, FMCG, or Consumer Durables sectors.


• CA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification preferred.


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytics tools (Power BI required; SAP/Anaplan/Oracle and similar platforms a plus).


• Demonstrated experience in data visualization, reporting automation, and business analytics.


• Strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and a track record of supporting senior decision-makers.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; comfortable partnering with cross-functional leaders.


• Experience in pricing, trade promotion analysis, and SKU-level profitability is highly desirable.


• Results-oriented, agile, and adaptable with a passion for the consumer and cosmetics industry.
