Role – What You’ll Do:

  • Architect and optimize robust streaming workflows leveraging AWS Media Services (MediaLive, MediaConvert, MediaPackage, MediaStore, IVS, CloudFront)
  • Design high-quality encoding/transcoding for VOD and live streaming
  • Implement advanced DRM/content protection (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady)
  • Integrate features for interactive live streaming: latency tuning, chat overlays, synchronized data feeds
  • Monitor and troubleshoot video delivery: QoE metrics, buffering, bitrates, CDN performance
  • Collaborate with OTT teams (web, mobile, smart TV) to ensure flawless adaptive bitrate streaming
  • Optimize cost/quality decisions: encoding ladders, storage, CDN setup


What We’re Looking For:

  • Deep hands-on expertise in AWS Media Services and OTT streaming architecture
  • Advanced skills with codecs/formats: H.264, H.265/HEVC, AV1, MPEG-DASH, HLS, CMAF
  • Experience with low-latency streaming: LL-HLS, WebRTC, SRT, RTMP
  • Knowledge of content security: DRM, encrypted delivery, tokenized URLs, geo-blocking
  • Strong grasp of ABR encoding ladders and QoE optimization
  • CDN integration experience (CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly)
  • Scripting (Python, Bash, Node.js) for automation and monitoring
  • Background in OTT application/platform development is a strong plus
