Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Vice President of Engineering role located in Ahmedabad. The Vice President of Engineering will lead and oversee all engineering activities, including the design, development, and optimization of our manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include managing a team of engineers, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and maintaining the high-quality standards of our specialty chemicals.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams, strategic planning, and project management
  • Chemical Manufacturing: Expertise in chemical engineering, process optimization, and specialty chemical production
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in chemical manufacturing
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software and tools, as well as a strong understanding of semiconductor-grade chemical production
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry is highly desirable
