Overview of Job Function:

The Associate Software Engineer will participate fully in all our R&D activities. Subject to their specialization, they may be involved in the design, development, testing, publishing, and support of different cloud-based products and solutions. The role will work closely with a global team of engineers to build robust solutions that meet our business objectives following continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Additionally, they will provide recommendations to management as to process, technologies, or other improvements intended to benefit productivity, efficiency and quality of the solutions developed by the team.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

Support Quality Management and Automated Quality Management Cloud initiative product development, ensuring global customer success. Begin with resolving small product issues, progressing to new feature development. Develop programming, testing and automation skills and knowledge of Verint’s product offering Ensure quality of the feature being delivered, testing functionality before being committed for review Ongoing evaluation (test) of feature – proactively work with others to identify issues or potential risk areas with the solution.  Evaluate whether implementation tasks meet feature requirements and work with Team Lead to ensure they do Develop features using best practices and ensure they fit with the architecture of the product Communicate relevant risks and issues to Team Lead and other relevant team members inside and/or outside the team Stay current with industry standards and features set for systems and platform compliance Research new technologies and stay up to date with industry developments Continue to grow knowledge of the Verint portfolio

Minimum Requirements:

Technical Responsibilities :

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in full-stack development. 1+ Yrs Working experience with Java . 1+ Yrs of experience in UI Development /MERN (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, , , , , RESTful Web Services) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB). Working experience with cloud technologies AWS, Azure (OKD/OpenShift experience is a plus). Strong background in test automation using Cucumber, PyTest, Selenium etc. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Harness and Jenkins. Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and/or OpsGenie. Working knowledge of Linux/Unix services. Experience in Contact center products / platforms is advantageous. Experience with Agile methodologies (JIRA, Scrum/Kanban). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with other teams Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to troubleshoot and identify root cause of issues while liaising with engineering teams, support and end customers Able to work independently under general direction towards predetermined longer-term goals Able to work as part of a matrixed team, building supportive and collaborative relationships with colleagues in order to meet Verint’s objectives Experience of software development within a team Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies
