Associate Director role – as Global technical lead
for
Hybrid Mobile Apps
is part of the strategic group of engineers within the organization that helps to embody best practices, quality and the engineering strategic vision. They are leaders of an engineering organization and are seen as well-respected members of the engineering community and make natural role models for other engineers to look up to. You will be a hands-on product builder who leads by example and embodies the principles of the organization and helps ensure the delivery of its goals. You will enable the delivery of Solutions that incorporate practices founded in Qualitative Engineering, which include the following high-level pillars: Security, Scalability, Reliability, Maintainability, Testability

We will count on you to:Be the Go-to technical authority for mobile application development teams for the design, programming, testing and deployment of enterprise class mobile applicationsBuild, support and mentor effective app development teamsBuild reusable modules to written Agile stories with unit tests adhering to coding standards and guidelinesBe an active member of the Our Clients Technology community – contribute, collaborate, and learnKeep up to date with new technologies, trends and Our Clients Dev initiatives to be able to apply them when appropriate to our architecture or processesTo have strong problem-solving skills and embody the principles of reuse both across your teams and the organizationAdvocate best practices and principles within your organizationWork closely with a Lead Test Engineer on Test Engineering StrategyChampion good agile practices that are foundational to product deliveryFacilitate a diverse, inclusive and collaborative working environment where everyone’s ideas and opinionsand equally valuedBuild strong relationships with product owners, solutions architects, analysts and pod leadershipWork with state-of-the-art technologies to solve genuine, real-world problemsContribute to thought leadership and strategy for the Software Engineering organizationCollaborate with security teams to ensure solutions comply with Enterprise and regulatory policies
What you need to have:15+ years of overall experience from leading IT services/ Captive units with strong mobile design and development backgroundHas proven expertise of technically leading global teams (across multiple geographies)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong experience in some of the following:
Ionic (or similar), Native apps, Angular (React could be considered), NodeJS, Express.JS, LESS (SASS), MongoDBBroad experience across multiple programming languages and frameworks with in-depth skills in at least one of the following:
JavaScript, Typescript, CSSExperience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing is also essentialPracticed experience refactoring, implementing design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, system and application design, application securityStrong Knowledge of SDLC processes and practices and experience with some or all of
Confluence, JIRA, ADO, Github
etc.Experience with container technologies such
as Docker and KubernetesExperience designing and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure with providers such as
AWS and Microsoft AzureExperience with the following technologies is desirable
Kafka, NServiceBus, Camunda, Dremio, RabbitMǪ
Other Requirements:The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross- functional environmentProven track record of successfully delivering software with a broad mix of languages, technologies and platformsStrong people management skills with the ability to build collaborative and innovative teamsProvide opportunities, training and mentorship to software engineers to help create and traverse career pathwaysExperience working with Agile at Scale, Lean and Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development and Infrastructure as CodeExperience with cloud-native software architecturesProven experience in Security driven design practices and the remediation of SAST/DAST findingsExperience in CI/CD and DevOps practices including the use of Ǫuality Gates to maintain high levels of code
