SAS Developer – Fraud Management (SFM Framework)Experience:5+ YearsLocation: ChennaiJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with a strong background in SAS Fraud Management (SFM) and Visual Investigator (VI) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and implementing fraud detection solutions, as well as a good understanding of modern technology stacks including Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices .Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement SAS solutions using SAS Fraud Management (SFM) .Develop and maintain SAS programs , macros, and scripts to support fraud monitoring and reporting.Integrate SAS components with Java-based microservices and APIs.Work with stakeholders to design and optimize fraud detection models and workflows.Perform data analysis and transformation using SQL and SAS Data Integration tools.Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.Ensure compliance with coding standards, documentation, and security best practices .Conduct unit testing , debugging, and performance tuning of SAS code.Research and benchmark new technologies to improve existing fraud detection systems.Required Technical Skills:5+ years of SAS development and design experience.2+ years of hands-on experience with SAS Fraud Management (SFM) implementation.Experience with SAS Visual Investigator (VI) .Strong proficiency in SQL , data modeling, and data entity management.Good understanding of APIs , JSON , and data integration concepts.Working knowledge of Java , Spring Boot , and Microservices architecture.Functional Skills:Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech domains (preferred).Familiarity with fraud detection processes , case management, and rule design.Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).Strong understanding of technical and application architecture principles.Interested?
