SAS Developer – Fraud Management (SFM Framework)Experience:5+ YearsLocation: ChennaiJob Summary:We are looking for an experienced SAS Developer with a strong background in SAS Fraud Management (SFM) and Visual Investigator (VI). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and implementing fraud detection solutions, as well as a good understanding of modern technology stacks including Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement SAS solutions using SAS Fraud Management (SFM).- Develop and maintain SAS programs, macros, and scripts to support fraud monitoring and reporting.- Integrate SAS components with Java-based microservices and APIs.- Work with stakeholders to design and optimize fraud detection models and workflows.- Perform data analysis and transformation using SQL and SAS Data Integration tools.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.- Ensure compliance with coding standards, documentation, and security best practices.- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of SAS code.- Research and benchmark new technologies to improve existing fraud detection systems.Required Technical Skills:- 5+ years of SAS development and design experience.- 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAS Fraud Management (SFM) implementation.- Experience with SAS Visual Investigator (VI).- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data entity management.- Good understanding of APIs, JSON, and data integration concepts.- Working knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.Functional Skills:- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Fin Tech domains (preferred).- Familiarity with fraud detection processes, case management, and rule design.- Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).- Strong understanding of technical and application architecture principles.Interested?
