This role requires experience of product development life cycle with high quality using various tools and processes. Understanding requirements of complex use cases of SaaS solutions, manage upgrades, automation, dev-ops and Site reliability engineering is a must have. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: Collaborate with dev, PMs and other QA to come up with solid test strategy and test cases to cover end to end use cases for any features or enhancements. Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure Automate new test cases and maintain existing ones with high quality and ensuring all automated cases are part of continuous regression and runs on nightly builds with no/minimal maintenance Should be able to identify room for improvements for making automation more efficient and stable. Review SDD, test features, document and test upgrade scenarios, identification of breaking changes. Work with other product solution teams to ensure integration, upgrades and dependencies for every release and patches are well understood and planned. Mentor other quality and automation engineers to review the automation, test cases and contribute to overall product quality. Participate in agile development processes and events like release planning and iteration planning, scrum meetings, retrospectives meetings. Assumes overall responsibility for projects in designated areas in terms of functionality, quality, efficiency, and timeliness. Have an attitude of ownership, and exhibit leadership and be able to drive things to GET IT DONE.  To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:  12+ Years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance experience in software product development 10+ Years of hands-on test cases automation development experience in developing and implementing automated testing platforms using Selenium & Java from scratch. Managing automation frameworks and run regression suites. Hands on experience with tools like JIRA, Github, Code collaborator Excellent understanding of Ruby, Perl, Python, API, Java, OOps Concepts, Advance Python, Jenkins and services experience Automation Framework Experience on Python Framework and Automation , Selenium web driver; TestNG , Robotium Experience working on Linux based infrastructure Experience in UI and backend API automation is a must Working knowledge of Python and known DevOps tools. Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring. Configuration and managing databases such as Postgres with replication etc Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage Incidence management and root cause analysis Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline) Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language). Expert in code deployment tools (Ansible). Must have worked on large scale enterprise products (n-tier architecture) Experienced in working with Agile development methodology and working with virtual team. Strong knowledge and hands on experience with container-based apps on Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Experience of creating and maintain helm charts for deployments is a must. Experience with at least one cloud platform like AWS, Azure, OCI or GCI. Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:  Knowledge on working virtualization software like VMWare  Strong documentation, communication and presentation skills. Experience with working on AI based platforms, Watson, GPT technologies is a plus Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
