Lead Infrastructure Engineer-Windows OS

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goalsReview and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the futureDesign, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendorsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesMake decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirementsDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successRecommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve resultsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with customer and vendorRequired Qualifications:
9+ years of experience in an enterprise Windows environment3+ years of Windows OS engineering experience
Platform engineering (physical and virtual, and on-prem and hybrid cloud)Certification and release of Windows OS images, OS patch bundlesGPO engineeringAutomation as required for projects
3+ years of experience with VMware3+ years of experience with automation (any 2 - Ansible, Salt, Python, PowerShell)Desired Qualifications:
Advanced scripting skills specifically around automationExpert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineeringAbility to help remediate tough technical support issuesStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projectsAbility to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organizationCustomer focused, service-oriented attitudeProven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurationsAgile experienceRisk management and mitigation experienceJob Expectations
