Lead Software Engineer

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact.Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications:
9+ years of experience in an enterprise Windows environment3+ years of Windows OS engineering experience
Platform engineering (physical and virtual, and on-prem and hybrid cloud)Certification and release of Windows OS images, OS patch bundlesGPO engineeringAutomation as required for projects.
3+ years of experience with VMware3+ years of experience with automation (any 2 - Ansible, Salt, Python, PowerShell)Desired Qualifications:
Advanced scripting skills specifically around automationExpert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineeringAbility to help remediate tough technical support issuesStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projectsAbility to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organizationCustomer focused, service-oriented attitudeProven skills analyzing and trouble-shooting complex systems configurations.Agile experienceRisk management and mitigation experience.Create SOP and drive projects /technology independently.Job Expectations
