Job Description:

The Analyst - Accounts is responsible for overseeing accounting entries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely reconciliations. Key duties include managing month-end close processes for multiple entities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. The candidate should also have an understanding in Accounting and MIS reporting.

Job Description:

• Support in Day-to-Day accounting in Books of Accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during financial audits.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management as needed.
• Ensure compliance with TDS regulations by accurately calculating and deducting TDS from various payments made by the organization.
• Support internal and external audits related to TDS and Advance Tax, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions. Manage bank accounts and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports related to treasury activities, including cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Recording accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies. Help resolve accounting-related issues and prepare reconciliations.
• Aid in the month-end and year-end close processes for various entities, both within and outside India.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and process improvements.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
• Assist in audit assignments from planning through to finalization, ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Work with team members and other departments to gather data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• The candidate should have knowledge of operating expenses and provisions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany reconciliations, leases and fixed assets.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in accounting with strong accounting experience.
• 1- 3years of post-graduation experience in IT & ITES set ups
• Working experience of having worked on ERP platforms such as Oracle etc.
• Must have strong knowledge of auditing & accounting standards
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications
• Highly detail-oriented and organized in work
• Ability to prioritize work on multiple assignments
• Should be a team player with a proactive & result oriented approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with all departments.
