We're seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical backend systems that power our applications.

Requirements :

Education & Experience :

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrably successful work experience).

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on backend development and architecture.

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for building efficient and maintainable backend systems.

- Extensive experience designing and building fast API endpoints capable of handling 1 million+ requests per day.

- In-depth knowledge of Vercel, including deployment, configuration, and optimization of serverless functions.

- Expertise in relational database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with a focus on data modeling and query optimization.

- Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis to enhance application performance and scalability.

Problem-Solving & DevOps :

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues efficiently.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment tools.

Communication & Collaboration :

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, frontend, product).

Coding Best Practices :

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

Tech Stack :

- Backend : Node.js, PHP (familiarity preferred)

- Deployment : Vercel (Next.js, Serverless Functions, Cron, Frontend Deployments)

- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS)

- Database: MySQL, Redis Cloud

- Programming Languages: TypeScript

- Blockchain: ether.js (familiarity a plus)
