Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, capable of ensuring the highest level of quality in our projects. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work with various stakeholders to define and implement testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Planning and Design: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.2. Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing to identify and document defects, ensuring that the software meets the required standards.3. Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.4. Bug Reporting and Tracking: Report, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes.5. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and deliverables.6. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that recent changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.7. Performance and Security Testing: Conduct performance and security testing to ensure the software can handle expected loads and is secure from vulnerabilities.8. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.9. Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices to enhance overall product quality.
Qualification:
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or QA Engineer.- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.- Proficiency in manual and automated testing.- Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, or similar.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.- Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.- Relevant certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.- Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing.- Experience in both manual and automated testing.
Experience with testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
