Job Description:


As a Design Systems Lead, you would be responsible for developing and governing the company’s design system, ensuring product consistency, and improving the efficiency of design and development processes.


Responsibilities:


Design System Development and Management:


• Lead the creation and ongoing enhancement of a comprehensive design system.

• Incorporate design tokens into the design system to ensure a scalable and consistent implementation of design decisions.

• Collaborate with designers to convert visual designs into a set of standardised design tokens and components.

• Work closely with developers to integrate design tokens into front-end frameworks and libraries.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


• Serve as the primary liaison between the design and engineering teams.

• Conduct workshops and training sessions for designers and developers on using the design system and understanding the importance of design tokens.

• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to ensure the design system aligns with business goals and user needs.


Governance and Advocacy:


• Establish and maintain guidelines for using and evolving the design system and design tokens.

• Advocate for adopting the design system across all projects, promoting consistency and efficiency.

• Monitor the usage and effectiveness of the design system, collecting feedback and making iterative improvements
