Ensure Safe Working practices as per Sandvik EHS Policies & guidelines.  2. Ensure metallurgical and physical testing conformance in all Raw Materials required/processes and parts produced in the foundry. 3. Testing and clearance for all incoming raw materials and bought outs. 4. Melt sample analysis on spectrometers, physical/mechanical testing, microstructure analysis, sand analysis and hardness testing as per quality plan. 5. Liaise with third party testing laboratories for material testing (as required) and the vendors for test sample machining. 6. Taking decision on HT Batch clearances. 7. Log the deviation / rework details associated with manufacturing order in deviation log as per quality plan. 8. Participate in quality review meetings, RCA & Corrective actions for all non-conformance observed during testing and Field failure analysis for Customer claim/actions. 9.On time Calibration of Metallography Equipment / Testing Equipment and HT Equipment 10. Maintain high level of housekeeping, maintenance and upgradation of Metallurgical Laboratory equipment 11. Review of WI & SOP related to ME Lab on time updating in AIMS System 12. Identification, Storage of the Metallurgy samples as per QMS standard. 13.To ensure QA, metallurgical and physical testing conformance in all Raw Materials required/processes and parts produced in the foundry14. To ensure on-time completion of Quality check in Metallurgy and physical/mechanical testing as per specification Qualification: BSC Chemistry / Diploma – Metallurgy or in relevant fields Experience: Minimum hands-on experience of 3-5 years in Manufacturing Engineering Industry in Metallurgical analysis /Laboratory in Production environment for a candidate with BSc Chemistry / Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering. Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India Required Competencies: Behavioral Competencies Good interpersonal & communication skills Good analytical Skills Proactive and a team player Good understanding of EHS Standards Hands-on experience in basic metallurgical instrument handling.
